The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for developing new programs used to operate the machine and produce the required parts, within the confines of the established safety rules.

  • Ability to perform simple calculations.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Ability to communicate (written, reading, spoken) in French or English

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • Diploma as a numerical control machine operator.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse technical drawings
  • Identify the tools required to produce parts and the sequence of operation.
  • Design the parts production program and enter the data into the machine.
  • Conduct a graphical simulation test and visually inspect the test results.
  • Ensure that all the machine’s tools have been set up and calibrated and that they are linked to the program.
  • Operate the machine to produce the parts.
  • Close the work order in the ERP system.
  • Inspect parts produced.
  • Carry out maintenance of machinery.
  • Respect all safety standards.
