Description:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing crew in the Quebec City area of Quebec.
You will collaborate and work alongside a team of other machinists and operators and will be responsible for taking and interpreting client work orders, making sure the specs are correct and adjusting accordingly if necessary to the machine as well as quality control up to company standards and sign off.
You will be programming and operating the machines with an emphasis on milling. You will be responsible for machine maintenance, troubleshooting any technical issues as well as calibrating tools and instruments.
You will be safety conscious and keep a clean and tidy work environment at all times as well as making sure the machines youve worked on are maintained according to maintenance schedules.
There are a few shifts available at this time, you can work 4 x 10 hour shifts or a regular 5 day workweek on either the day shift, or the afternoon shift.
Compensation range depends on experience and ranges between 27-35 per hour with benefits, perks and vacation included.

  • A minimum of 5 plus years working as a CNC Machinist
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
  • Must have experience working with Mazatrol software
  • Must have extensive experience milling
  • Forklift and overhead crane and hoist experience an asset
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to site everyday for your shift
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to adhere to order schedules and complete paperwork
  • Bilingual (French and English) preferred
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
