CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our Coquitlam facility. This is a full-time position with the option to work 4 x 10 hour days, or 5 x 8 hour days, with flexible start times. We are a custom shop building high tolerance components for a variety of industry and want someone who cares about quality, organization and willing and wanting to learn from Professionals.
The role requires programming, set up, and operating CNC Mills and Lathes for production on high tolerance aluminum parts.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience in a Machine Shop setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Experience programming using Mastercam - entry level is fine
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and care for quality.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  Wages: $28 to $35 depending on experience.
  Perks: Health benefits will be offered after 3 months and eligibility to participate in the bonus program after 6 months.

• Load tools, set up and operate Mills and Lathe.
• Program with Mastercam
• Read shop drawings and meet appropriate tolerances.
• Work with QC to ensure accuracy of parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with set up or trouble shooting equipment for more junior employees.
