SUMMARY:
Ebco Industries Ltd. is seeking for a skilled CNC Machinist with a Red Seal certification and strong manual machining experience. This position will be on the night shift, and the ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for precision manufacturing. As a Machinist in our Heavy Machine Shop, your role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world-class quality manufacturing and repair/ rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, with a focus on manual machining processes to produce complex components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software, ensuring optimal machining processes.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
