WHAT WE DO..
We build Museums, Science centers, public art installations, film and television sets, window dressing for high end retailers. These projects include interactive displays, which require a skilled team of designers to create, test and prove sustainability in the market place.
JOB SUMMARY:
The CNC Operator/ Programmer is responsible for setting up, operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in
machining or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator.
- Must be familiar with nested base machines and programming
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, and files.
- Familiarity with CNC programming
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- We cut various materials including Plywood, MDF, Laminates and solid lumber,
various kinds of Plastics, and Aluminum and Aluminum composites. Experience
with these materials is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust CNC machines based on job specifications and files provided.
- Load materials and ensure the correct tooling is used for each job.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality
standards.
- Work with production team to develop construction strategies consistent with
equipment capabilities
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required
tolerances and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine settings.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
- Collaborate with design department and other team members to optimize production
processes and quality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
