Responsibilities:
As a CNC Programmer, You will be responsible for:
- Performing CNC CAM programming for Milling and turning machines.
- Selecting the suitable tooling for machining process.
- Recommending and implementing improvements in CNC machining operation.
- Overseeing manufacturing engineering activities in machining, milling and turning operations.
- Providing product support, manufacturing support, and failure analysis.
- Designing special tooling and fixtures required for machining of components.
- Maintaining and improving all factory processes and related metrics (production efficiency, cycle times, capacity, capabilities and others as needed).
- Creating and maintaining Manufacturing Instructions, route sheets, and other process documentation
- Receiving specifications and design constraints from team leader.
- Handling special projects, as assigned
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have bachelor’s degree / Diploma from an accredited university or college
- Have minimum of 3 additional years of experience in CNC programing
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD.
- SAP working proficiency
