SUMMARY:

Design programs for numerical control machines by optimizing the machining of parts while considering production and safety constraints.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing their duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, use their hands to touch, handle or feel, reach with arms and hands, and speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. They are occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Tasks include loading and unloading parts, moving shelves, and lifting accessories
