Description:
PHD Huntington is currently seeking a highly experienced, reliable, and motivated CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for part programming, tool selection, as well as Proto type setup and the production operation in a small lot machining/R&D environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in understanding technical drawings and sketches as well as have a strong foundation in CNC Milling / Turning; Mazak programming, Fanuc controls and Esprit CAD/ CAM experience is a plus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical school certification a plus
- 10+ years of CNC machining experience; primary proficiency in CNC turning
- Strong knowledge of lathe and mill tooling/inserts
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision to achieve level of customer satisfaction in terms of On-Time Delivery, Quality, and Costs
- Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as interpret technical drawings/sketches
- Ability to communicate and display professional interactions with all levels of the organizations and collaborate on cross-departmental projects
Responsibilities:
- Work from complex prints to program and machine parts of various materials (primarily 5 grades of Aluminum, stainless steel and common plastics) on our Mazak CNC turning centers
- Set and adjust work/tool offsets as necessary
- Independently select and set up tooling and fixtures/jaws
- Monitor the run of parts in cycle and after completion to ensure that specifications and tolerances are met
- Be proficient in using and understanding all common machine shop measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, height gauge, indicators, ID/OD micrometers, etc.
- Train and mentor peers, when necessary Other duties as required by Production Manager

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
