Description:
The quality engineering co-op will complete engineering-related tasks in support of the development and production of magnetic sensors and power magnetic products. The position will allow for exposure to aerospace technology, to the test processes, and to the manufacturing environment at Standex-Meder Electronics while aiding in the professional development of the co-op. Typical tasks will be the verification of the adherence of new parts with the specification and providing AS9102 formal aerospace written first article reports. Activities will also include the troubleshooting of returned products and collaborative efforts to solve problems and improve systems including the integration of quality management software and the use of high magnification microscopes, x-ray machine, and keyence measurement systems. Will perform other duties as assigned.
