YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Our Edmonton office is looking for a 8 month Co-op Student or Intern to join the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team from January to August 2025 and own the following responsibilities:
Prepare pitch-books and presentation documents in connection with business development initiatives

Perform market, industry and company research supporting live engagements

Prepare lists of potential buyers and acquisition targets

Assist with drafting of marketing documentation (i.e. Confidential Information Memorandums)

Assist with various financial analysis as required including financial modelling and comparable company analyses; and

Participate in due diligence processes.

Your experience and education
You are enrolled in a post-secondary business program with an emphasis in accounting or finance

You have a strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions

You have excellent attention to detail and ability to perform analytical work accurately, often under time pressure

You have developed communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with team members

You have a strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel

You have the ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced deals environment.
