Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates across a range of disciplines.
We are seeking a team player with a passion for marketing and promotions to spearhead our brand and recruitment marketing activities. As a member of the marketing and communications team, your primary focus will be implementing effective promotional campaigns to increase student enrolments in our programmes.
Our successful applicant will have:
§ A relevant qualification at degree level and/or equivalent relevant work experience in business, marketing or public relations.
§ Experience in the field of promotional marketing and recruitment, preferably in a tertiary environment.
§ Experience building networks with whānau, hapū, iwi and the community.
§ Proven ability to use Microsoft Office and database software.
§ Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to korero Te Reo Māori to at least an intermediate level along with a willingness to improve Te Reo skills beyond this level.
§ A full clean driver’s licence.
§ The ability to travel away from home to support scheduled off-site activities.
