Description:

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency in IBM technologies: COBOL, CICS, MQ, DB2.
  • Experience with web services and middleware integration.
  • Strong knowledge of development methodologies: Waterfall, RUP, V-model, Scrum.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices like SCRUM and SAFe.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience with IBM technologies (COBOL, CICS, MQ, DB2).
  • Demonstrable project references and CV showcasing relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with TSO, z/OS, ISPF, and other mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the DB Cargo CAM timetable management process using IBM technologies (COBOL, CICS, MQ, DB2).
  • Implement technical designs based on customer requirements.
  • Replace existing middleware with web services for client connections under CICS Transaction Server.
  • Conduct code reviews, component tests, and module group tests.
  • Prepare system documentation and technical decision documents.
  • Report risks and technical issues to project management and technical architects.
  • Utilize continuous integration in development environments.
  • Ensure quality of developed software code and adhere to client standards.
  • Present technically complex topics and contribute to project meetings.
