• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and application needs.
• Maintain and enhance existing COBOL applications and systems.
• Write, test, and debug COBOL code to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Work on modernization efforts, including code refactoring and migration to newer platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated on COBOL best practices and industry trends.
• Minimum Qualifications: Min. 2 years experienced in Cobol/400 and CL/400.
• Familiar with relational databases and Work queries
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Familiar with Credit Card application will be an advantage
