A well-known grocery store is looking for experienced Code 14 Drivers to join them on a permanent basis. You’ll have an important job delivering goods to customers safely and on time. The best fit for this role is someone who works hard, is always on time, and knows how to be a good team player.
What you’ll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

  • Perform daily vehicle inspection and checks.
  • Deliver goods to clients on time and to the correct destination.
  • Tell supervisors if there’s something wrong with the vehicle.
  • Load, unload, and secure items for safe transport.
  • Check and verify delivery instructions.
  • Get proof of delivery or ensure delivery is signed off.
  • Drive safely, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain records of invoices, fuel slips and working hours.
  • Follow vehicle safety rules and standards, ensuring that the tyre pressure matches the load.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license, and ensure the vehicle’s license disk is visible and valid.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage and cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Report any road incidents, accidents, and violations.
  • Verify the quantity of loaded goods.
