As a healthcare provider, it is very important to us that our staff have the annual flu jab and are fully vaccinated against COVID 19. Hours: 15 Hours per week, usually 2 days worked Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays
Our retail outlets provide 29% of much-needed income to the hospice. This is vital to be able to provide care to the people of North Derbyshire. The hospice has seventeen retail shops, one furniture warehouse, one donation centre, two clearance shops and two coffee shops. We also have an online eBay/Amazon platform and an online furniture store. It’s a big operation!
We are looking for a Coffee Shop Assistant to cover maternity leave, for a period of 4 months, and join the team at Clowne Coffee Co.
This job role is hard work, enormous fun, hugely satisfying and very fascinating. This is a job that doesn’t have that Monday morning feeling, and you will go home feeling happy that you did a great job for an amazing charity! The main responsibilities include:

• Create a positive customer experience
• Keep the coffee shop well-stocked to meet demand.
• Store stock appropriately to minimise wastage.
• Maintain and monitor coffee shop equipment to keep it in good working order.
• Uphold the highest standards of customer care at all times.
• Ensure volunteers follow food and drink preparation guidelines.
