JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in Securities Services Operations team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of a custody control accounts.
As a Trading Services Specialist in Collateral Segregation, you will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of client instructions within market driven deadlines. You will also work with internal teams on break and exception management in addition to ad hoc projects.
Job responsibilities
- Review of underlying account documentation to identify requirements for release of cash and trade transactions
- Authenticate signatures against Authorized Signatory Lists
- Manage exceptions and fail reporting
- Liaise with Front and Middle Offices as well as External Counterparties
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Strong analytical skills with complementary communications and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Exceptional problem / issue resolution skills
- Strong risk and control awareness
- Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Working knowledge of digital tools, e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Signavio, including experience in developing workflows or improvements using the tools.
- Some Project Management experience
- Proficiency in presenting findings in a coherent and consumable way to senior leaders within the organization
