Position: Collection Technician
Contract: Full-Time; Fixed-Term
Hours: Rotating, 12-hour shifts including days and nights
Location: GTA - Driver’s License, personal vehicle and clean driving record required

We currently require a Dynamic, Smart and Results oriented individual for our Collection Technician located at our Client Site (TTC). We are looking for the kind of person that strives to ensure clients get the care they need; someone who takes pride in the thoroughness of their work and the strong relationships they develop with their clients and co-workers.
We are a national provider of workplace medical testing and assessments based in Ayr, Ontario. We have Occupational Health Clinics in Kitchener, Sarnia, Mississauga, Calgary, Nisku, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. Dedication to customer satisfaction, fast and accurate turnaround of test results, flexibility, persistence and accountability are of the utmost importance.
The primary focus of the Collection Technician is to independently provide drug and alcohol collection at various TTC work sites throughout GTA. You will work in conjunction with TTC management and the DriverCheck Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Department Specific Functions
- Drug and Alcohol collections for testing;
- Accurate completion of forms and paperwork;
- Answer phones, book appointments, greet clients;
- Organize and maintain paperwork flow and process;
- Provide Excellent customer service;
- Travel to various work stations within the GTA;
- After-hours on call support (if necessary);
Operational Functions
- Utilize timecard program (i.e. ezLabor) to clock in and out for each shift;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office programs e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Conceptual thinker with exceptional analytical skills, able to identify challenges and develop a critical path to
- solve problems;
- Results oriented, strive to achieve high levels of individual and organizational performance ;
- Conscientious, flexible and adaptable;
Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of quality and professional customer service;
- Work to create a service driven process;
- Service excellence is a core expectation;
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE:
- High school diploma;
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this role could require travel within the region
- 6+ months experience in the medical lab/technician field would be preferred;
- Excellent customer service & communication skills;
- Detail oriented with accuracy
