MINIMUM OF THREE (3) YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN:
- Working with archaeological collections and/or artifacts, archives, photographs, audio-visual collections, library at a large-scale institution;
- The use of database for collections and office systems;
- Experience providing reference services and client services in a cultural environment;
- Effective communication with the public;
- Management of multiple requests and coordination of projects with multi-disciplinary teams
KNOWLEDGE:
- Of Canadian history in general;
- Of classification system for archaeological collections;
- Of customer Service principles and best practices;
- Of current laws relating to, but not limited to, copyright, access to information, privacy protection;
- Of methodical organization of diverse information;
- Of the use of database for collections and office systems.
Education: University degree in Canadian History, Humanities, Social Sciences, Archaeology, Anthropology, Material Culture or Collections Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: $ 68, 493$ to $ 84,767
Status: Permanent Full-Time Position (# 9947)
