We are currently seeking a Collections Assistant to join our Vancouver team to support both the Legal Support and Accounting departments.
This position is ideal for a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong client service focus, solid organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills. This position will manage collections processes and perform various administrative duties according to business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Send payment reminders to clients
  • Identify delinquent accounts
  • Verify and record client electronic payments
  • Review intercompany AR postings
  • Process write-offs pending partner approval
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as required

What will help you succeed in this role?:

  • An aptitude for administrative processes and quality control
  • Previous work experience in a legal or accounting environment is an asset
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions as needed
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A critical thinker with a resourceful approach
  • Ability to learn quickly, particularly in relation to software, processes, and programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Keen desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude
  • Professional manner in communicating with others
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills

The salary range for this position is $45,000-$48,000 per annum, dependent on years/relevance of individual experience
