REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in collections or a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to build our collection process.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive improvements in the collections process.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in using collection management systems and software.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Collections Lead to oversee our collections process. As a Collections Lead at SAPI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and effective collection of outstanding payments from our customers while maintaining positive relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead on our collections efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the collections process and improve cash flow.
- Monitor outstanding payments and proactively contact customers to resolve any issues or disputes.
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and maintain accurate collection records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address root causes of payment delays or disputes.
- Prepare and present collection reports to management, highlighting trends and recommendations.
