Description:
Witten LLP is a busy downtown law firm currently seeking a Collection Legal Assistant to work independently within our active foreclosure and collection team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in learning the litigation collection process.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from a legal assistant program
- Experience in collection or debt recovery litigation
- Experience working in law firm would be an asset
- High attention to detail
- Excellent typing skills
- Superior time management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong skills and knowledge in Office 365 and familiarity with iManage is an asset

- Communicating with debtors, process servers, and service providers,

- Updating the client database on collection proceedings
