Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our friendly and inclusive Finance Operations Team are in search of a Collections Officer to join on a 6 month fixed term contract basis 3 days per week. Due to the nature of this role being process driven and high volume, our team are looking for a detail orientated, energetic candidate with strong initiative.
This position is available immediately and will be in a part-time capacity.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Take ownership of a complex ledger and proactively manage the reduction in aged debt.
- Generate a high volume of daily outbound calls and emails to clients in line with agreed schedules and procedures.
- Serve as the first point of contact for Accounts Receivable inquiries, actively listening to and triaging client concerns, processing credit card payments, and providing clear information on outstanding accounts.
- Escalate account disputes and collaborate with internal stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate up to date debtor notes on all interactions, including communication details, payment agreements, and issues holding up payment.
- Ensure data integrity by maintaining accurate company & contact records.
- Contribute to a positive customer service experience by communicating effectively and building rapport with both clients and internal stakeholders.
