SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Superior time management skills
  • Experience in start to finish collection or debt recovery litigation in a law firm
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in Office 365 and familiarity with iManage is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing collection documents such as demand letters, Statements of Claim, garnishees, and writs of enforcements
  • Communicating with debtors, process servers, and service providers
  • Managing the status of files
  • Updating the client database on collection proceedings
