JOB DESCRIPTION

General Purpose of the Position:
This position involves operational activities, execution in systems and/or routine processes. It may require specialized training but does not require an advanced level of independent work, judgment, and/or decision-making. Representative who performs basic analysis work in the areas of accounting, finance, and customer service. Applies knowledge to synthesize information and draw conclusions based on the requirements requested.

Basic Requirements (essential):

  • Professional Technician or university bachelor’s student in Accounting, Finance, or Administration.
  • Proven experience of 3 years, in the accounting/finance and/or customer service field.
  • B2 level of English.
  • MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Intermediate Excel.
  • Experience in at least one ERP system (Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, and/or Mainframe)

Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service by answering and resolving questions and issues; directs different cases to the appropriate department or person for proper resolution; educates internal and external customers on policies and procedures as appropriate; prepares and provides data to customers; retrieves and requests additional documentation when needed.
  • Handles non-complex overdue accounts in accordance with established collection strategies. Documents customer contact regarding payment delays. Works as an ally with sales, customer service, taxes, order management, billing, and master data.
  • Supports document processing and data management by researching and updating financial systems to resolve exceptions; ensures documents are processed according to policies and procedures; maintains data tracking records for metric, production, and compliance reporting; validates accuracy of supporting documentation used in exceptions; assigns revenues or expenses when processing documents; validates and records transactions in subsidiary ledgers; enters journal entries; compares data from various sources with recorded transactions for processing; identifies items (e.g., documents, claims, receipts) for eleventation procedure; and verifies customer information (e.g., name, provider number) in systems.
  • Supplies to quality control by reviewing documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures, adheres to legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance; notifies management of quality issues or concerns by identifying data trends and system and process problems, and communicating to partners; shares process improvement suggestions; and performs quality checks on processed documents.
  • Completes assigned work and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, internal customers, and others involved in the processes.
  • Aligns with company policies, procedures, and ethical and integrity standards by implementing related action plans; using the open-door policy; and applying them in process execution.
  • Maintains engagement and communication through phone, email, chat, or any other means with internal and external customers involved in the processes.
  • Identifies optimization opportunities and continuous improvement of department-related processes to establish new strategies and apply best strategies.
  • Provides support and fulfills any other requests required by company need
