Collections Specialist

We are offering an opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry. The location of this role is Midland, Texas, United States. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work autonomously and maintain a productive work environment. This role involves extensive customer interaction, problem-solving, and administrative tasks.

• Handle customer credit applications, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.
• Ensure familiarity and competence with submission portals such as ariba/sap/open invoice.
• Conduct research as needed to address invoice discrepancies or customer concerns.
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for various tasks.
• Manage accounts receivable and billing functions.
• Administer claims and oversee collection processes.
• Handle inbound customer calls, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Knowledge and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ability to handle and respond to inbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Experience with Billing Functions.
• Understanding of Claim Administration procedures.
• Familiarity and experience with Collection Processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
