Description:

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in the distribution industry located near West Chester, Ohio. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting credit analysts, managing customer communications, and resolving credit/debit issues.

SKILLS:

  • Experience with AS/400 - Application System/400
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel

  • Proficiency in Email communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Extracting and manipulating data from our ERP
  • Handling phone and email communications with clients to manage collections and administrative tasks
  • Assisting in resolving credit/debit disputes
  • Managing collection work for an assigned customer base, including contacting B2B customers to collect delinquent balances
  • Making decisions on product release or shipment within established time frames and notification to customers per company guidelines
  • Evaluating credit updates for credit terms and credit limit increases
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve disputes and facilitate payments in a timely manner
  • Answering incoming customer calls and addressing questions regarding invoices
  • Responding to vendors regarding customer trade reference requests
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with customers and internal staff.
