Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in MENTOR, Ohio in the manufacturing industry. This role mainly involves handling B2B collections, reconciling business segments and resolving payment issues in collaboration with account managers and customer service representatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage B2B collections primarily through email follow-ups and occasional phone calls as required.
- Oversee reconciliation of business segments, specifically the fasteners division.
- Take care of initial clean up tasks as part of the role.
- Handle pricing-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with customer service representatives and account managers to resolve payment problems on accounts.
- Use accounting software systems to track and manage customer accounts.
- Perform collection processes as per the company guidelines.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze customer data.
- Administer account receivable functions and ensure accurate billing.
- Respond to inbound calls from customers and resolve their inquiries.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in Answering Inbound Calls
- Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively
- Familiarity with Claim Administration
