Description:
THE VACANCY
This is a temporary role to cover a period of maternity leave starting in November 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Librarian to cover the maternity leave of our College Librarian. The successful candidate will lead the provision of the library services and ensure a high-quality library service to our undergraduate and postgraduate students. They will have significant practical experience of delivering frontline library services and acquisitions, preferably in an academic library setting. The College also runs an enhanced programme of academic skills workshops in which the Librarian plays a significant role, which can be discussed further with relevant academic staff.
The Librarian reports to the Fellow Librarian and Senior Tutor, and is supported by a very experienced part-time Library Assistant.
