WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 3 years’ prior experience in automotive collision repair estimating.
  • Be well versed in the usage of ICBC primary estimating software (Mitchell Connect).
  • Knowledge of utilized related software packages is an asset (CDK, Carbeat, BodyshopConnect)
  • Passion for customer service; committed to consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driven to succeed, self-starter, with a strong work ethic.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, coachable and open to continuous learning and development.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with ICBC.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License, with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Capable of dead lifting a minimum 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Write accurate and complete collision estimates by inspecting vehicles, costing parts, supplies, labor and determining time for completion of repairs.
  • Process ICBC, private insurance, internal vehicle, and company estimates as required.
  • Arrange collision repair needs as required for customers.
  • Communicate the status of the repair process with the customer and insurance companies.
  • Coordinating pre and post repair inspection and quality control pre-delivery checks.
  • Track vehicle workflow to ensure promised time schedules are met.
  • Follow automotive industry safety norms and standards.
  • Adhere to insurance provider and company policies.
