Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the security industry, preferably holding a Security Supervisor (SS) rank or above (SSO Rank can be considered) with at least 2 years of Command Centre Operations experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information, following protocols, and adhering to standard operating procedures are necessary to ensure the reliability and integrity of data and communication processes.
  • Overall, a Command Centre Controller plays a pivotal role in maintaining safety, security, and efficiency within an organization by monitoring, coordinating, and responding to various events and emergencies in real-time.
  • Understanding of operational and security management principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player with effective management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. excel, word & power point).
  • Good knowledge of CCTV systems and computer operations.
  • Keenness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work either Day or Night Shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Coordination: Constantly monitor multiple systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, radio communications etc.
  • Provide 1st level desktop, network and application support.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or alarms by assessing the situation, dispatching appropriate personnel or resources, and coordinating response efforts with relevant stakeholders such as emergency services, law enforcement, and medical personnel.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication channels with field personnel, colleagues using various communication devices and platforms, including two-way radios, telephones etc.
  • Manage and supervise the deployment of security officers across all sites utilizing CCTV and Attendance Systems.
  • Ensure accurate attendance records are maintained and appropriate actions are taken for absenteeism and lateness etc.
  • Administer security systems and monitor CCTV feeds, responding promptly to incidents as required.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.
