Description:
ABOUT US
At Verndale, we create human experiences to drive business outcomes. We inspire, design, and build experiences that transform how our clients connect to their customers, in a digital world.
Within Verndale, this role sits under the Marketing Services team. The Marketing Services team are experts in meeting the ever-growing expectations of consumers in our digital world, to create experiences that inspire them to move. As the Commerce Analytics Practice Lead, your digital analytics and commerce expertise will be pivotal in shaping our clients’ data collection/KPIs and the reporting that can accelerate their growth and inspire the optimization of digital commerce that will directly impact their business.
This is an opportunity to be part of the design, formation and rapid growth of a commerce-focused team and be part of evolving agency culture as we focus more on B2B and B2C approaches - and are looking for someone to lead that growth. If you’re a data-driven thinker who believes in the transformative potential of data-based insights and measurement, and you’re passionate about what’s possible in the future of digital commerce, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Sales estimates and pitch support as we acquire business from both new and existing accounts, including recommending the right level of resourcing
- Establish standards and processes for analytics specifically as it relates to our key tech partners and how commerce tracking with key analytics tools should integrate, including best practices
- Host client workshops and facilitate conversations to determine business, digital, and project goals - and from there identify relevant data sources and KPIs for reporting on success
- Plan/structure and implement analytics configurations for Google Analytics including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager via a well-documented process
- Implement tracking and other data via tag management systems (GTM) while working with developers as needed for custom tracking and datalayers for both B2B and B2C sites
- Provide performance dashboards tailored to difference audiences based on the team’s marketing savviness to deliver actionable insights and recommendations
- Analyze attribution and contributions to the business across multiple channels to advise on resource allocation, and overall task prioritization for analytics focused updates
- Maintain up to date understanding of consent laws and PII, as well as provide high level guidance to clients (we are not legal advisors but tell our clients when to consult with theirs)
- Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the analytics services at Verndale as the company expands and mature
