Shape the Business Leaders of Tomorrow, Today
Are you passionate about igniting students’ interest in business and commerce?
Due to the growth within our secondary school, and our desire to expand our face-to-face teaching capacity to meet the needs of our students OSGNZ is excited to announce we are seeking to fill a full-time Commerce teacher position at our Palmerston North Campus. Commerce is one of our most popular subjects among students, and we’re seeking talented educators to inspire the next generation of business leaders.
With an eye toward the future, we recognise that 1 in 3 of our students will go on to work within businesses, where commerce skills are essential. That’s why we’re seeking passionate Commerce specialists who are ready to make a real-world impact.
Responsibilities include developing engaging curriculum content, facilitating interactive discussions, and providing practical insights into real-world commerce scenarios. Join us at OSGNZ and unleash your passion for commerce education in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Commerce Teacher at OSGNZ, you’ll have the opportunity to engage students both in-person and via Zoom, delivering captivating lessons that explore the intricacies of the business world. Whether you’re already based in these regions or considering a move, we welcome Commerce specialists eager to share their expertise with students.

Benefits;

  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside passionate educators who share your commitment to excellence in science education.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with manageable workload expectations and no after-school commitments.

Your role will be instrumental in shaping students’ understanding of economics, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
Knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA requirements is essential as you prepare students for success in their assessments and beyond.
Applications will be reviewed as they come in and an appointment may be made prior to the close date.
