Our clients benefit from customized advice, maintain a relationship with one senior contact, and make educated decisions regarding risk retention and transfer using state-of-the-art technical solutions and traditional insurance products.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a strong Commercial Account Manager to support our Complex Risk Unit Commercial accounts in Toronto. This role involves working closely with the Vice President, of the Complex Risks Unit and requires someone who is responsive, has strong time management skills, and has good knowledge of property and casualty experience. This is an ideal role for someone with strong technical and systems experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Act as one of the primary points of contact in a client-facing placement insurance broker role for an assigned book;
- Be responsible for maintaining key client and insurer relationships
- Meet existing client’s needs, including but not limited to quotes, premium adjustments, endorsements, renewals, and claims
- Prepare and monitor insurance submissions, proposals, and summaries of insurance with the support of an account assistant for the processing of binders, certificates, and billings
- Negotiate with insurers to best meet the needs of the client in conjunction with the producer remarketing where necessary
- Collect premiums from clients in a timeline pursuant to HUB standards
