QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of commercial project sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to our commercial projects, ensuring their efficient and effective flow across our Regional NSW branches. Your responsibilities will include initiating, computing, processing, and providing quotations with a strong focus on customer service. You will also:

  • Deliver exceptional service to both Commercial and Retail customers.
  • Support all regional NSW branches with administrative tasks as required.
  • Prepare, deliver, and follow up on commercial quotations and tender documentation.
  • Maintain a visual tracking system for all active commercial projects.
  • Update and manage customer and product databases.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations and suppliers.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to manage orders and deliveries.
  • Handle inquiries related to quotes provided, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Liaise with customers throughout the project/ordering process.
  • Ensure compliance with credit procedures as per the Credit Department’s guidelines.
  • Maintain company equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist in the daily operation of the Retail Branch as directed.
