At Medical & Legal Admin Services (MLAS), our mission is to support the business growth of our Expert Witnesses by providing them with comprehensive support, streamlined administrative services, and effective marketing to ensure nomination for instruction. We collaborate directly with solicitors and reputable Medical Reporting Organisations (MROs) to establish enduring relationships between Instructing Parties and Expert Witnesses. Our panel boasts a diverse range of experts from both medical and non-medical backgrounds. They possess the expertise to generate accurate reports for personal injury and clinical negligence cases, serving both Claimant and Defendant instructors.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in secretarial roles within the medical or legal sector, customer service, complaints resolution, or similar commercial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in using IT applications such as Microsoft Word and Outlook (training will be provided on internal systems).
- Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and the English language.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
- A commercial mindset with an understanding of business operations and objectives.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a Commercial Administrator at MLAS, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of commercial activities within the company. Your responsibilities will include handling internal and external communications, managing confidential information, maintaining internal systems, and collaborating closely with the Commercial Team Leader to achieve set targets and KPIs.

- Manage internal and external correspondence/communication via telephone and email.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
- Effectively manage and maintain your own workload to meet deadlines and priorities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate the conversion of inquiries into instructions.
- Regularly update and maintain internal systems and knowledge hub.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team Leader to achieve set targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
