Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Preparation of weekly and monthly cost reports
- Preparation of weekly spent hours reports
- Analysis of data - report anomalies, refer to other departments to rectify issues
- Deal with monthly payments for consultants
- Monitor overhead costs
- SAP reports as requested
- Liaise with QS team to report on project costs
- Liaise with the construction team to track crews and manage labour hours and cost reporting
- Monitor and report on use of processes and procedures
- Dealing with and assisting with queries
- Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as they arise
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:
- Academically (Degree) qualified and or relevant experience in the industry
- 3+ years’ experience in a cost control / Commercial side
- SAP experience is an advantage
- Attention to detail with good numerical ability
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is an advantage but not essential
