This Role
The Commercial Affairs Manager/Executive will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the commercial and legal aspects of the organisation. This position involves handling contract management, insurance coordination, project management, stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance.
- Ensure contracts align with organisational goals and adhere to legal requirements.
- Insurance Coordination:
- Handle insurance policies, claims, and risk management.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to secure appropriate coverage for the organisation.
- Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate commercial projects from inception to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, legal teams, and senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to facilitate successful business outcomes.
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyse financial data related to commercial activities.
- Make informed decisions based on financial insights.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal standards, and company policies.
- Negotiation Skills:
- Demonstrate effective negotiation skills in dealing with contracts, pricing, and other commercial matters.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address complex issues related to commercial operations, contracts, and project challenges.
- Communication:
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, to various audiences.
- New Country Setup & Expansion:
- Research and Requirements: Understand and research the legal, financial, and operational requirements for expanding into new countries.
- Support Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure they understand the regulatory and compliance requirements for the new country.
- Transition Assistance: Assist in the transition process, ensuring a smooth move into new business ventures or entering a new country market.
- Cross-Border Compliance: Ensure that the organisation meets all local legal and compliance standards when expanding into new territories.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- OR Relevant work experience in commercial affairs, contract management, or project management.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
