You are a driven, strategic team player who wants to join a dynamic and vibrant workplace? As Commercial Analyst CHATIT (m/f/d) you will be responsible for building long-term commercial strategies & assessing marketplace growth opportunities for the global leader in plant-based foods with a portfolio of power brands, including Rama, Becel/ProActiv, Flora and Violife.
Preferred location: Vienna or Hamburg (with regular travel to Vienna); other European locations to be discussed

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Act as CHATIT market expert and driver of commercial initiatives
  • Performance tracking: Continuously analyse total category & Upfield performance dynamics (Share; Volume; Price) and work on required course-corrections based on monthly / quarterly performance reviews
  • Strategic planning: Using insights of Upfield performance incl. in the broader context of the category, identify potential white spots and generate recommendations for future growth (e.g. pricing, promotion, product assortment)
  • Prepare and support: Work closely with the sales teams on identifying customer-specific (category) growth opportunities and prepare customer presentations
  • Daily project management: Collaborate across functions, incl. sales, marketing and finance to implement commercial initiatives and innovation projects

SO, WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

  • Passion for data and turning it into insights & action plans
  • Good analytical capability as well as first understanding of commercial concepts
  • Basic understanding of consumer, shopper insights and marketing concepts
  • Confident in Excel and PowerPoint
  • 1-3 years of commercial experience (FMCG a plus but not a must)
  • Fluency in English (German a plus but not a must)
  • CHATIT market knowledge is a strong asset, not a requirement
