YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics or comparable field with a strong academic record
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in financial modelling and analysis, DCF valuation
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Skills to create comprehensive management presentations
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and markets, and understanding of the value drivers behind Solar PV and Onshore
- Fluent English, additional languages as a bonus
- Appreciation for cultural differences
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Analysis & Market Intelligence team in Düsseldorf. You will be part of the centre of competence within Uniper Renewables for the financial modelling and valuations, and participate in evaluating various project development, investment and asset rotation opportunities.
- Develop, build and maintain financial models, valuation tools and methods for renewable energy projects, mainly industrial scale solar, wind and batteries
- Evaluate and assess potential investment opportunities and partnerships, participate in due diligence processes, and prepare valuation reports
- Analyse the financial performance, cash flows, returns, and risks of the projects, and prepare and present investment recommendations and reports to senior management in collaboration with the project development teams
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to support the origination, development and execution of renewable energy projects
- Monitor and assess the performance and risk of the existing pipeline and provide insights and recommendations
