As a Commercial Assistant, you will be supporting our Power T&D Commercial Team to deliver complex work and become involved in some of the biggest infrastructure projects within the industry.

- NVQ The following qualities/experience are desirable:
- Work experience Industry knowledge
- Knowledge of the role of a Commercial Assistant/Finance Assistant/Quantity Surveyor
- Analytical reasoning/previous knowledge of accounting Experience of Oracle R11 or R12

Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE:
A Commercial Assistant assists other Quantity Surveyors in carrying out a range of commercial duties. They help manage the costs of a project at every stage and help to ensure that projects meet legal and quality standards, and they support the effective engagement and management of our supply chain. Typically, they will be academically qualified to HNC/HND level. They will be confident IT/Systems users – have good knowledge of Microsoft office 365 (Excel, word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc).
Previous experience of Oracle R12 would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.
