We are currently recruiting for an Commercial Claims Complaint Handler to join our established and experienced team here at RSA Manchester on a hybrid basis.
Your Role
To work collaboratively with all key stakeholders on behalf of commercial claims to investigate and resolve multi branded and multi disciplined customer complaints. Manage and resolve FOS stage 1 & 2 complaints, ensuring that all FOS learning’s are fed into the business with the aim of reducing the number of FOS referrals as well as the FOS upheld rate. To engage with, and influence commercial business functions to improve our customer’s journey.
To validate, investigate, negotiate and settle multi-branded and multi disciplined (Commercial Property, Liability and Motor) claims, proactively managing the end to end process of first and third party claims.
Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves within your own financial handling authority whilst controlling the overall expenditure throughout the lifecycle of the claim.
About You
You will have an empathetic personality as you will be dealing with difficult situations and vulnerable customers.
Experience in and the ability to meet SLA’s along with good negotiation skills (potentially negotiating resolution and redress on a complaint).
Ideally you will have good previous experience of working as a claims handler and had some exposure of working within a complaints role.
