REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Finance /Business / Economics
- MBA and / or CPA is preferred
- 10+ years of proven experience in FP&A and commercial support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
The Commercial Controller will lead the commercial and investment appraisal reviews for Singapore and SEA cluster for all new business, renewal or investment projects. This role will also be responsible for coordinating and preparing the monthly / quarterly SEA financial reporting and Business Reviews.
The role will work closely with Finance, Business Development, Account Management and Legal, to support early engagement around commercial opportunities, identifying commercial risk and options to address and ensuring adherence to Global governance processes.
Critically the role has to ensure a thorough understanding of the risks and rewards as well as strategic alignment of the business opportunity under review, appropriately applying commercial challenge where required, but always maintaining an independent and objective view.
Responsibilities
- Investment appraisal (BCA) for all new business, renewal or investment projects that require approval at SEA Cluster level or higher.
- Supporting O2D and Pricing, financial modelling (e.g. Investment Model, Credit Report, etc) for Singapore new business
- Coordinating BCA reviews within Country and SEA Cluster
- Ensuring prompt responses to any queries on BCAs from Regional & Global reviewer
- Support monthly and quarterly SEA Cluster Reporting and Business Reviews
- Adhoc projects as required
