Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and manage key projects: This includes overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. The projects may encompass strategic and commercial initiatives, organizational changes, process optimizations, market entry strategies, and technology upgrades. Ensure consistency, clear prioritization, and efficiency across all projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders: This involves managing and enhancing stakeholder relationships through effective communication and negotiation in key commercial projects. Enhance relationships with all stakeholders involved in key commercial projects, including those in market, cluster, and group functions.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and commercial delivery of activities: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cooperate closely with the functional lead: Work in tandem with the functional lead to ensure the successful execution of key cluster projects.
  • Conduct market analysis: Stay informed of specific needs, industry trends, and competitor strategies, adjusting project and strategic plans accordingly to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Resource Allocation: Determining how to allocate resources (such as personnel, budget, and time) across various projects and departments to optimize execution of business strategies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Background in complex branded FMCG company: Ideally in highly regulated categories, demonstrating an understanding of the intricacies of such environments. Previous or current experience within project management, realization, planning & analyse, program management.
  • Outstanding track record in delivering financial results: Proven success across multiple facets of the business, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and financial forecasting skills.
  • Leadership and Project Management: Proven leadership skills with experience managing large and complex projects across different functions and geographies.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Proficient in data analysis with excellent numeric and data handling skills. Ability to balance strategy and tactics with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management and Prioritization: Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively allocate resources and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

Imperial Brands have an exciting opportunity to come and join us as our new Commercial Delivery Manager - CEE Cluster (Central Eastern Europe). The role is located in Prague, Czech Republic, but we are flexible and able to offer you opportunity to work from one of our other office locations: Warsaw or Poznań- Poland, Budapest - Hungary, or Bratislava - Slovakia.
The Commercial Delivery Manager is a pivotal role in guiding the commercial strategies through the management, coordination, and execution of projects.
This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, P&C, operations, and other parts of the organization to optimize the execution of business strategies, ensuring they meet the financial and strategic targets of the cluster and its markets.
You will play a crucial role in driving the success of key projects by integrating requirements with operational capabilities and ensuring that all commercial activities align with strategic objectives. Additionally, you will support the General Manager in ensuring full synchronization of project and transition workstreams across the various parts of the matrix organization.
Please note: 30% of the role will consist of global travel.
