Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent, with four-year college degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of related financial institution experience required. Commercial lending and/or mortgage lending experience preferred.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Ability to travel to other branches and participate in events within the community.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and use of standard office equipment.
  • Possess presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
  • Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • While the following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented, identified physical requirements include ability to operate normal office equipment and some lifting, not to exceed 25 pounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue Commercial and Mortgage Lending opportunities, including analyzing potential loan markets and developing referral networks to locate prospects for loans.
  • Represents and promotes the Credit Union to members, employer groups, organizations, media, and other appropriate groups.
  • Responsible for managing existing member relationships and generating new business in the

appropriate market segment.

  • Actively manage, monitor, maintain, and reconcile existing accounts, including loan participations.
  • Develop strategies for maintaining and further penetrating existing accounts.
  • Execute the strategy with calls, visits, needs assessment, member qualification, and meetings.
  • Follow-up to maintain, enhance, and expand business relationships.
  • Assist members in analyzing problems and propose solutions.
  • Resolves complaints from Commercial accounts about operations and decisions.
  • Serve as primary contact with Commercial Loan Members throughout lifetime of the loan.
  • Prepare loan packages for Commercial and Mortgage Lending with recommendations.
  • Analyze financial statements. Make financial proposals. Negotiate terms and conditions for loans, leases, etc.
  • Actively cross-sell RRCU products.
  • Interact with loan review.
  • Maintain community involvement.
  • Sponsor loan request through the appropriate credit approval process.
  • Demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge applicable to this position and understand and comply with government regulations.
  • Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
