Description:
Responsibilities:
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
- Take ownership of opportunity management for Transport, to ensure sincere and appropriate responses
- Develop strategic and targeted revenue opportunities
- Produce data to be shared with Sales and Business Development functions to ensure we are targeting appropriate sales opportunities
- Work with partners from across the business to develop and deliver leading-edge concepts for optimising Transport
- Work with business leaders to develop and prioritise a growth plan for Transport and Distribution
- Support the digital agenda within Transport in order to increase visibility, which in turn identifies collaboration across customer opportunities.
- Identify opportunities within existing customers to offer closed book lanes rates by merging transport activity
- Lead initiatives to drive value creation by utilising assets on non-contracted during periods of inactivity
- Communicate in a clear, precise, and regular format with all partners and stakeholders, including ongoing project status reports
- Own metrics and performance indicators related to initiatives to measure overall performance and provide foundation for value creation
- Work with Finance partners to develop pricing templates to ensure swift and appropriate commercial responses are delivered
