Description:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
o Experience and knowledge of the SaaS industry and how to effectively sell SaaS products to Enterprise customers
o Proven experience to create a comprehensive client business plan to manage account sales while accurately forecasting future bookings and revenues.
o Proven experience to work cross functionally as part of a solution team
o Proven business acumen with experience in C-suite stakeholder engagement
o A track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals
o Knowledge of messaging and/or payment industry
o Extensive network of decision makers in corporate South Africa

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE
Clickatell is looking for a Commercial Director that will focus their efforts in expanding our chat commerce solution’s footprint in South Africa. You will be responsible for spearheading our sales initiatives with a primary focus on acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. You will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals, develop strategic plans, and execute targeted sales campaigns to expand our client base and maximize sales opportunities. You will work to introduce solutions portfolios to client’s needs to transform customer engagement and realize cost and operational efficiencies through this new digital channel in innovative ways.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:
o Relevant Degree (NQF 7) (IT / Engineering / Commerce) and an MBA will be an advantage
o 15+ years’ experience, of which at least 7 years must at an Executive level.
o 5+ years’ experience in running and motivating sales teams
