REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial role for high-tech capital investment products, preferably in the laser machine tool industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a customer-centric approach
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies that align with the corporate aims of the business.
  • A business qualification – BSc/BA/ MSc/MA in business administration or a relevant field.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding market conditions and industry trends, as well as business operations to inform business marketing and sales strategy.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enter new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand the needs of current customers and devise and implement customer acquisition strategies.
  • Developing, planning and implementing strategies that align with business goals to promote growth.
  • Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to drive sales performance and meet sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
