JOB DESCRIPTION

The Commercial Director Nordics adds value to the growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts in Northern Europe (Sweden and Denmark). He/she will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management.
The goal is to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth;
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.);
  • Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met;
  • Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing);
  • Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service etc.);
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders;
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management;
  • Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring;
  • Lead by example through your individual performance and behavior, providing staff with clear guidance and direction;
  • Provide coaching and support development and continuous improvement at a team and individual level.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of individual sales experience within the racking/storage solution industry is required;
  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including team management, P&L responsibility, …;
  • Clear understanding of racking/storage systems market including customers and competitors;
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies ;
  • Technical aptitude;
  • Fluent in Swedish, Danish and English;
  • Hunter and Farmer mindset; good (or great!) at establishing new relationships and moving the sales cycle to a close;
  • Willingness to travel within the territory and on occasion to our Belgian headquarters and larger reference sites;
  • You’re someone who takes ownership, is hands-on, and ambitious;
  • Ability to communicate with clients at various levels of an organization (internal stakeholders, customers as well as vendors).
