Description:

In the dynamic landscape of business, the ability to forge and nurture professional relationships is paramount. A Commercial Executive looks to understand client needs, collaborate with business leaders, and engage stakeholders to develop solutions that are beneficial for all parties involved.
The Commercial Executive is a trusted advisor who leads the design and execution of the customer’s commercial strategy and negotiation, selling the right commercial solution at the right time and ensuring every deal is compliant and profitable for Microsoft.
As a Commercial Executive, you will collaborate with Microsoft’s Enterprise and Public Sector customers to close Volume Licensing deals and continually seek out revenue growth opportunities. You will work closely with sales teams to develop strategies for increasing revenue and improving customer satisfaction by accelerating technology solutions to meet customer needs
You will be responsible for revenue generation and growth, deal making and as the lead negotiator, for the negotiation strategy as you develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and peers.
As a Seasoned sales and negotiation professional, you are unafraid of conflict. With a positive attitude and a passion for working with customers and partners, you are comfortable speaking at all organizational levels, from senior leaders to procurement / purchasing teams.
You will make the best choices for the customer and Microsoft based on commercial strategic needs. As a strategic, long-term thinker, you will be able to analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Fluent German skills are a must as are English.
In-depth and strategic understanding of Microsoft Support, licensing programs and contracting is essential, however not required. [This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home].

QUALIFICATIONS

Significant sales and negotiation experience at a corporate level +

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education (or equivalent) or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals and execution metrics that ensure on-time and quality customer deals.
  • Build strong relationships with sales teams and customers, providing expert advice, consultation, and guidance in complex commercial scenarios, providing strategic direction to all stakeholders.
  • Leads sales and management teams through sales process optimizing for the right level of investment and customization.
  • Design and agree on the best commercial Volume Licensing deals through the definition and negotiation of commercial terms, whilst meeting customer needs.
  • Define and negotiate complex commercial terms, leading the negotiation strategy by engaging with both external and internal stakeholders. Act as the primary negotiator to achieve successful deals with customers.
  • Make decisive decisions as the escalation point for discount deals or adjustments to customer contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage any discounting or changes to Volume Licensing customer contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with various sellers, both internally and externally to Microsoft, such as channel partners, Sales Specialists teams, Microsoft account teams, and other technical solution sellers to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage key stakeholders to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ensure on-time Volume Licensing revenue by overseeing deals from negotiation to processing and invoicing.
  • Share best practices and strategies with internal teams (product groups, field sales force, leadership).
