Job Description
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support and analysis to deliver F30 plan
- Ad hoc modelling on various financial projects – for example LFL analysis or FX analysis
- Ad hoc finance projects such as process improvement, automation, one off investigations and commercial business support
- FP&A support and analysis
- Refresh and check of Board Deck
- Collation and initial review of variance analysis from FBPs
- NetSuite to Anaplan reconciliation
- Monthly P&L reporting by function
- Run monthly iLevel reporting for P/E owners
- Refresh exec pack
- Exceptionals reporting
- Headcount reporting
- Acquisition and new initiative tracking and reporting

- Excellent Excel skills; experience turning large data sets into clear summaries and conclusions

Responsibilities:
Commercial Finance is a dynamic team supporting the business in developing and delivering our strategy through insights, business partnering, commercial acumen, and financial & commercial modelling and support. Highly valued by the business we are working hard to transform the finance function and ways of working in order to step up the value we deliver.
We are looking for a bright and inquisitive analyst to join our team on a FTC to perm basis. You will want to dive into the detail to understand what is happening commercially, as well being able to succinctly summarise your insights for presentation and action. You will work with the wider finance team on various projects as we continue through a period of transformational change, and most closely with the Commercial Finance Business Partners & Head of FP&A to support the ambitious growth targets we have for our business. You will work with the team to support our transformation agenda and set up new KPIs and insights for our ambitious F30 plan.
You will be passionate about accuracy and able to easily manipulate data in manual processes, whilst also exploring every opportunity for best practice, automation and dashboarding for replicable insights. You will be highly visual in your presenting style, able to tell a story from facts and data and keen to explore new visualisations or metrics to summarise your points clearly.
You will need brilliant excel & powerpoint skills, as well as an understanding of our business environment and the metric requirements of a P/E backed business. The right candidate will be a highly commercial team player skilled in working in a fast paced environment and comfortable with working through transformational change.
You will be a self starter who is bought into our continual improvement agenda and happy to work on different projects on an ad hoc basis, as well as delivering on regular month end deadlines. You will be excellent at the detail as well as understanding commercial impact and have experience in modelling, analysis and ideally MI / Board level reporting. You will want to understand and communicate actions based off your insights and be able to flex to work effectively to tight turnarounds and deadlines during busy periods.
